Wink Brainiac's nickname for Superman was

"Mr. Muscles", at least in pre crisis Action comics, around 1973 the team of Luthor, Brainiac, Marauder, and that blue skinned four armed guy.

It was about that time where Brainiac, funny enough, messed with informal ways to address Superman. Old bean, old sport, etc.

Years later Kelex would be programmed to speak urban.

The classic story for Brainiac's name-dropping was "The Man Who Murdered Metropolis" in SUPERMAN 271 (January 1974) where Brainiac taunts the Man of Steel with a series of veiled references to his other names of "Clark" and "Kent"--hinting that the compulter criminal knows Superman's secret identity.

Rofl, I read that story only once (in the Seventies collection) and never happened to realize that he was speaking those phrases deliberately.
