    What I mean is, they think they can take a group of B characters, put the name Justice League on their comic, and sit back and watch the comic sell.

    Re the JSA, you're right if they slip a pack on modern B characters into that comic and try to present it as the Golden Age JSA. Which they very well might do.

    When you know writers/editors are out of ideas and things to say about a character, desperate to garner attention to their book, and should have been removed a long time ago:

    In this issue this classic character _____ dies! (instead of one of the crap ones you created nobody would care about)
    ______ Is replaced by their evil, darker, insane, eXtreme version!
    The big _____ Wedding issue
    Surprise _____ are having a Baby!
    Surprise you didn't know ______ already had a mystery child.

    Efforts to establish "iconic" versions of characters. That idea should've been discarded back in the Silver Age.
