Default Help Identify Alternate Superman- 50's Greaser

    Hey guys,
So recently I saw a poster of the several extended members of the Justice League hung in my local public library. On it, I found an alternate version of Superman sporting shades and a 50's style motorcycle jacket and gloves. I scoured the internet for what seemed like hours, but couldn't find anything about this version of Superman, and I'm really curious about his backstory, name, or anything else you can tell me about him.

    Here's the picture:

P.S. sorry for the weird format but I couldn't share the image any other way

Yep, Kuwagaton has it right (of course). Here's the character info (overview):

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superboy_%28Kon-El%29

Check out "Reign Of The Supermen" or "The Death And Return of Superman" - first seen a bit after Superman's funeral (after being killed by Doomsday) this Superboy was a clone that escaped before growing to full adulthood.

    Good stuff!

That Term Greaser - haven't heard that in a while as it brings back memories of; Slick backed Pompadour's, duck-tails - using; Brylcreem, Royal Crown, Nu-Nile or your Pomade hairdressing of choice.

There's also a cover of the comic book adaption of the late 80's Superboy tv series. In which Superboy appears wearing a leather jacket with shades and a tooth pick in his mouth.
"By force of will he turns his gaze upon the seething horror bellow us on the hillside.
Yes, he feels the icy touch of fear, but he is not cowed. He is Superman!"

Makes me think of three things: James Dean, Elvis Presley, and George Clooney's character in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
