Thats not the issue. Its CC incorrectly saying Mexico isnt a part of Middle America when it is. A country can be included in more than one geographical category and Mexico is

Yeah. There was some miscommunication here. CC mentioned plates so that was correct. However the Mexico to Panama region is normally called Central America instead of Middle America unless some progressive renaming happened.
