South America, from Peru. . . I remember that cable came once to Peru to fight Sendero luminoso (shining path), except there were also mutants involved

    Yes!

BTW, up to now I've been able to identify three posters from my same place. Not bad.

Central America is a region in North America, like the Indian subcontinent is a region in Asia. Of course, Asia is pretty vast and has a few regions.

    CR, Central America here.

And here we were taught (and on the rest of Latin America apparently) that México is indeed part of North America, and this is the first time I have heard/read someone refer to Central America as "Middle America".
"I wish I could live life five times over!
Then I’d be born in five different places,
and I’d stuff myself with different food from around the world.
I’d live five different lives with five different occupations...
and then, for those five times...
I’d fall in love with the same person...

    Argentina here
The biggest Argentine Marvel character (who is also an xmen character) is Sauron, who was born in Tierra del Fuego (I guess he does a small chance of being Chilean, Argentine side has 150.000 people, Chilean one just 6000). But no one at Marvel has realized he should be able to speak Spanish, since he only moved to the USA as a teen when his father died and the father of Tanya adopted him.

Black Tarantula is also Argentine, but more of a Spiderman-Daredevil character.

I also had never heard of Middle America for Central America before.
