Havok is desperate this is obvious but at these times it is best to calm down and try to collect the separate pieces and start from there.

This will also teach Havok not to judge people as he did with Scott and how the Avengers act when they do not need you .

The fun part was him trying to convince Beast and Banshee's return (he seems to be in the same state as Warren during Uncanny's start with Bunn).

Why people dislike Land's art that much? I love his style, he's one of my favorites. Phoenix Endsong was awesome thanks to him.

Endsong was well over 10 years ago and was him at his best. His art is wildly inconsistent. For what its worth, I thought it was decent here

I enjoyed this issue but damn poor Havok, the guy can't catch a break lol. Nice that Banshee is back, but his face was really weird on the last page.

Land's art didn't bother me here but yeah as Havok83 said his art has been really inconsistent along the years.

The sad thing about Land is that he can drawn well, but most of the time he seems to go for the lazy route.

Its more about the kid recruitment thing being in line with the school's intention and less about feelings for Alex one way or another.
Again, that scan is all that I have for context, but I appreciate that she was so hard line about a grown man (regardless of who he is or what her relationship is to him) trying to recruit students for his "team".
And the humorous conclusion about the ownership of the title of X-Men gave me a chuckle.

So what was with the line of the X-Men name legally being Kitty’s since Xavier died? Not only did she step down from Headmistress after that but left the team. In fact, as per Xavier’s will, it seems more likely it would legally be Cyclops’. And to further throw that line into question, the legality never seemed to be a thing when Cyclops was doing his revolution thing or with Magneto both during the Terrigen crisis or with the O5.

Greg Land is overly reliant on reference images, he straight up traces images. His reference images are also very limited and questionably sourced (porn), he has used the same traced woman's face for Jean, Storm, Emma, Hope, Psylocke, Monet, Dazzler, Domino, and others. He has used the same fugly dude's traced face for Scott, Havok, Angel, and Gambit. Because of his reliance on reference images his work is stiff, static, and overly posed; this is especially clear in his action sequences which are terrible. Because he tends to default to porn smiles and O faces it is very difficult to accurately gauge tone in any book drawn by him. In Fraction's run every woman looks like they are talking exclusively in sexy baby voice. Finally, these critiques have been around since Land started drawing in this style over a decade ago, there is no way he is unaware of these problems with his work and yet he has done absolutely nothing to grow or better himself as an artist, he is lazy. Marvel needs to remove him from the X-books yesterday.

it looks like the reavers are trying to capture mutant biologists, they went for Miss Sinister, and now for Beast.

I would think the headmaster should own the trademark. That should mean Logan inherited it, and then Storm when he also died. Storm would possibly have legally transferred it along with ownership of the school in X-Men Prime. But yeah, Kitty certainly shouldn't have inherited it directly from Xavier.

Yeah, same thing happened to Larroca. I remember an old issue of Birds of Prey with both Nightwing and Oracle drawn by Land and I though his art was really great at the time.
