Default Wonder Woman Villain: Fireworks Man. How Would You Fix Him/Her?

It's Independence Day here in the United States, so it's an apropos day to discuss Fireworks Man aka Human Fireworks.

I'd make Fireworks Man another of Diana's mad scientist foes, possibly a professor of research at Holliday University, who has a horrible lab accident due to battle between Diana and a superfoe on the university's campus.

He'd have a human form (Jubilee-like) to a plasma energy form. In human form he can create and lob and shoot fireworks of bright, colorful destructive and explosive energy. In plasma energy form, he has the ability to fly and emit larger, brighter and more colorful, and more powerful explosive energy.

The more he utilizes his powers, the more weary he becomes, reverting back to his human form eventually and needing time to naturally "re-energize" his powers from within himself.

He's immune to and can survive explosive energy - at least those that are based on heat and light. Transforming into his plasma form will heal any wounds he received in his human form.

His best friends are Mouse Man and Paper Man.

A fat loud mouth proud American who was setting off illegal fireworks when one of them had a strange chemical within it causing the firework to explode right next to him and transforming him into a living firework. He uses his powers for the betterment of America and mankind by attacking the "enemies" which include feminists, socialists, illegals, hipsters...etc

Oh this goof~ The comic never even gave him a name. He was just a scientist at a factory who after an explosion became a living firework that could explode and reform infinitly and 'posessed the power of all fireworks' which included splitting apart and shooting through the air and such. The odd bit was he was trying to earn an emmy from the supervillain academy by trying to kill Wonder Woman less than an hour after getting his powers. XD

I like your idea, especially with power usage tiring him, turning back to human. He certainly would fit in as another scientist type foe for Diana! His powers are unique to the DCU.

I laughed but also like his best friends are Mouse Man and Paper Man.

    Great ideas!

Logged in to write pretty much exactly that. Basically every dumb white straight male mass murderer, but in the world of a superhuman, he’s a superhero to his white nationalist bros. This is the villain we need.

A guy has to have pals. I’m still working on the specifics of their relationship and how they all meet up and whether that’s pre or post everything going wrong for them.

There’s definitely a story there and a possible team up with Force of July, Axis America, and the Fourth Reich characters.

Would you keep Paper mans 'im a NICE GUY why wont Wonder Woman like me?! It must be people poisoning her mind and turning her against me that is the only reason why the most wonderful woman in the world wont marry me after she was nice to me that one time! That means she loves me!' routine?

He was quite the stalker wasn't he? I'll change them up and revamps are in order. Although there's a frighteningly topical story there about no meaning no that some men appallingly don't get yet.

Oh yeah. Worked at a paper plant where his fellow workers routinly would kick him to the ground and stomp on him and Diana showing him kindness by telling the others to stop being assholes, became the center of this guys life who convinced himself that nobody would ever do anything nice to him unless they had romantic feelings for him and then tries to kill her friends convinced they were poisoning her mind. XD

I wasn't thinking mass murderer I was going for angry "Men Rights" activist who gets a bit overzealous and violent when in an argument and throws temper tantrums over small issues, basically a low level villain Wonder Woman deals with before a big arc happens.
