Red is good but the cast is big enough, if one atlantean is going to do something it should be Namor.

I came across her on one of the superpowers wiki sites when I was researching supporting characters for a Blue Marvel fanfic that I was writing. (I figured since Blue has an underwater base, he'd probably be acquaintances of other Atlanteans, like the Nobles.) I love the alliterative name and the fact that Nia is the queen of an underwater kingdom. She's related to World War 2 characters U-Man (father) and Lady Lotus (mother) for all of you classic Invaders fans. She's not immortal, but long-lived like Namor. She's also as strong as U-Man, who was as strong as Namor. But she also has attack-aligned telepathic abilities. She probably can't read everyone's mind unaided, but she can definitely fry your brain. She might make for a good X-man, but I'd probably put her in an Avengers/Defenders/Champion-type book.

Maybe will be seen if they do another Namor book, but I would say no since they have both a Mental Master, and an Aquamariner on the team so at least one would have to go.

I take it you mean 1970s Champions? The modern one is basically Teen Titans Marvel-style and this character's not a teenager.

Kinda OT but wasn't there a mutant on Utopia that Namor took under his wing because she was part atlatean also? Not the girl mentioned about I think her name began with an "L." It was something like Laurel.
    You brought back Wolverine

Are you thinking of Transonic, whose name is Laurie? She was on Utopia, and has blue skin, but she isn't Atlantean.

Do you maybe mean Loa (Alani Ryan)? Her Grandmother had a connection to Namor and Alani inherited an Atlantean amulet from her which enabled her to breathe underwater.

This is the one, thank you that was bothering me. I liked that story with her, I don't know why in particular it stuck with me but it did. Sorry for hijacking the thread.

I'm not saying she should join RED, just guest appear unless Namor leaves.
