To be fair, Tony kinda-sorta blew up the Phoenix Force as well, so it's still pretty competitive.

All he did was hold it back with his forcefield, he never '"punched it out".

All Tony did was split the Phoenix force and create the Phoenix Five. Hardly a great feat.

With that being said, I toss my had into the Captain Britain camp, I don't think Tony's standard armaments pose any great threat to Cap.

Now Tony with prep might be a different story, but I don't know how good he is at counter Magic.

Fair enough. I was only going off other people’s descriptions from the time. I’d given up comics a couple of years before AvX.
