Professor X has 0 votes, yet the movies and comics focus so much on him!

If the MCU gets the X-Men, I expect them to skip the Xavier and Magneto drama as stories of the past, so they can focus on the other characters. We already know about Professor X / Magneto, so I'd be disappointed if they rehash the drama.

I think it's why the Spider-Man movies didn't do that well ... oh, so Peter Parker is in high school again? They could have just skipped his high school phase as something of the past.

But holy crap, NO ONE likes Professor X as their favorite?

This is a bit of a shocker to me, but I understand times have changed greatly changed since I last followed the Xmen.

So tell me, why isn't Charles Xavier anyone's favorite? What did he do? Seriously, genuinely asking here. Is he a big tool in the comics or something?
It doesn't always have to be about "favourite." Xavier's the seasoning that makes the dish, but you're not going to eat a plate of garlic.

I feel the same way about Moira McTaggart. She seemed vital to the book's flavor, as a human ally and mutant specialist (kind of the living embodiment of Xavier's dream of mutants and humans working and living together, which is deader than Xavier himself, in the last decade or so), but I wouldn't want to read a book about her, and didn't really like to see her suited up as an X-Man.

Kitty is my favorite comic book character period followed by Cyclops and Iceman. Emma, Dazzler, and Polaris get honorable mentions for me.

I would read a Moira book with so much pleasure, though (not as an official X-Woman but as the valuable ally she's always been). There are other characters closer to me, but Moira is definitely in my Top 10, if not Top 5.

Kitty, Rachel, Karma, Dani Moonstar, Psylocke, Dazzler. In that order.
