Now, that would be something to see considering he actually got altered to look exactly like Steve Rogers.
I doubt they'll ever get Chris Evans back, but that would be something to see.

I'm curious as to how Taskmaster will end up being with the Thunderbolts. In Black Widow, it's shown her leaving with the other Widows. But in a deleted scene, it was shown that she was taken into custody by Ross, along with Natasha.

I find the hatred this is getting to be both amusing and baffling. As soon as Valentina showed up to interact with Yelena and Walker, I knew they would be part of a team she was putting together. And as soon as they announced the Thunderbolts movie, I knew immediately that it would probably be made up of secondary characters already showing in previous movies. Ghost was a given for me, and I kind of figured that Taskmaster would be there as well. I will admit to being surprised about Bucky and Red Guardian- I figured Bucky would still be working with Sam. And I honestly didn't know when, or even if, Red Guardian would show up again. And Feige has already shown that he doesn't always adapt the material exactly how it was in the comics, so things being changed didn't surprise me. And for all of the talk of Zemo leading the team (which I know he did in the comics), I think right now it's being lead by Clint Barton, so it's not unusual to see the team being led by a hero.

Clint also lead the old T-Bolts team (with the mostly original lineup) back in the day as well.

Assuming Val has some ties to the government, the concept of this team may more resemble the Thunderbolt Ross iteration of the team (I wonder if it'll be named after him in his memory since the actor has passed (unless they bring back Sam Elliot)) rather than the Zemo-formed version. Either way, it's clearly not a straight adaptation of either, so I expect they'll mix-and-match from different iterations.

I think it was the writers that indicated there was a specific reason why he said that, indicating something actually happened.

I think people were expecting Yelena and US Agent but also a bit more of the colorful T-Bolts.

I'm surprised Taskmaster is in it because I thought Marvel was aware of how unpopular MCU Taskmaster was.

If he ever pops up again, I would think it'll be in "Cap: New World Order" just to answer the Q of where old Steve is, and to support Mackie.

Am I the only one who did not hate Taskmaster lol. She had nothing to do with the comics but I assume there will be other versions of the character closer to the comic counterpart. Maybe thats the villain of this film?

Honestly, just glad Bucky will get some focus. He has played sidekick and has had no big moments since Civil War.

Bucky and Yalena certainly have a lot in common. It'll be interesting to see if their paths had ever crossed. (we know he had a run-in with her sestra back in the day...)

Yeah, I think the fate of Old Man Steve is one of those current MCU bucket list of major unanswered MCU questions.

I mean, for the role she had in the film she was fine if just not that memorable, but as a version of Taskmaster it was very lacking.

I know in the comics Bucky helped train the Black Widow program, it's when he and Natasha fell in love, but they've never established that in the MCU.

I mean when he shot through Natasha to kill that guy she was protecting.

Now that I think about it, he can meet Isaiah Bradley.

I can't see him as Ross.

He better have the mustache. Personally, I can't see what the appeal would be for him unless he just wants a big paycheck or they're going to do something more interesting with the character.

I wouldn't mind Sam Elliot coming back.

    I'd prefer Sam Elliot.

Like, beyond the novelty there are characters Ford would be a better fit for in my opinion.

Maybe they are just teasing and this isn't the real lineup...

Not sure if they'll do that, recasting a character after his actor died would be a slap in the face for TChalla fans.
Tolstoy will live forever. Some people do. But that's not enough. It's not the length of a life that matters, just the depth of it. The chances we take. The paths we choose. How we go on when our hearts break. Hearts always break and so we bend with our hearts. And we sway. But in the end what matters is that we loved... and lived.
