Favourite X-Men Villain

I am enjoying the favourite X Men poll so I propose a favourite X Men Villain post. I am choosing a name of individual characters that are big enough as to threaten the whole world. I have personally chosen Selene. I find her the scariest and the most undersused. I hope we get to see more of her.

Sinister... Mister Sinister.

I like Selene but... that's because my man parts take over.

Only voted Our Lord Magneto because he's my favourite of the options.

A villain, he is not.

Sinister would have gotten my vote, otherwise. And I mean real, Frankenstein with Shark Teeth Sinister that ragdolls Sabretooth while giggling, not that silly fop with the goatee that walks around with a cane.

A joke the last 15 years, but when written well, my vote goes to Sabretooth. The one who could beat Wolverine, outsmarted Sinister, and mentally shattered Xavier. The one it took all the X-Men just to incapacitate.

Magneto will always be the biggest villain that X-men ever had.

But as he has in recent years taken a more honorable path closer to an anti hero I ended up voting for Mr. Sinister.

Mr. Sinister is one of my favorites, both for his introduction and how he has shaped so many events. There is so much potential for him to be a continued threat, but he has been comical in many of his latest forays it's sad. I feel like many of the villains that were big threats when they were first introduced (like Apocalypse) were watered down for villain du jour writers years later.

That said, Selene is my second favorite and just below Sinister. Sooo much potential for pure terror. So evil, So beautiful.

I have a problem with Sinister
I think he is the best villain, but I also think he is very overused in villain of the week stories, that aren't worthy of Sinister.
The last great Sinister story was the Gillen Uncanny X-Men victorian hivemind city story.

Basically, don't use Sinister if you haven't thought of a great story for him.

The other problem I have with Sinister is he has the powers the story needs him to have. Right now in Adamantium Agenda he seems to have no telepathy at all.
