During the time of WWII, there were a lot of officers in the US Army Airforce under the age of 30.

A lot of officers, yes, but not too many at the rank of colonel. You had a fair number of fighter squadron commanders (just) under 30, but that billet tops out at the rank of lieutenant colonel.

IIRC, one Marvel X-Men index stating that Peter Parker, Johnny Storm, Warren Worthington III, Jean Grey, & Scott Summers were all the same age, and at the same scholastic level. I would put Storm, Captain Britain, Pietro & Wanda (physically) & Nightcrawler in that same age bracket. Bobby Drake was younger, and Hank McCoy was older. I always figured McCoy, Clint Barton, Danny Rand, Matt Murdock, T'Challa, Sam Wilson, Sue Storm, Janet Van Dyne, Dane Whitman, and Luke Cage were about the same age. Tony Stark and Simon Williams would be older than all of them, yet younger than Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and Hank Pym.

I think Steve Rogers is somewhat immortal, or ages very slowly.

Almost every officer you ever encounter would be under 30 when they are first commissioned. Not seeing the point here.

As a general rule, most of the Avengers are in their 30s and most of the X-men are in their 20s. Captain America tends to ahve ayoutful looking face regardless of how you figure his age.

Emma Frost is at least mid 30s although she claims mid 20s.

I recall a Captain America comic book where Steve Rogers was asked to run in 1980 Presidential Elections. You'd have to be 35 years old to be elected as president.

So Steve Rogers is 35 years old, isn't he?

But Steve Rogers spent a couple of decades in ice. Maybe the U.S. constitution was making a rule on his date of birth, not his age?
