Does that qualify as "modern"?

The whole 21 issue run of Greg Rucka's Punisher(16 issues) Punisher War Zone (5 issues).
It was the first time I felt like I was getting the classic solo Punisher(Baron '87) back after Ennis was done with him.
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
The whole Vision series left me in shambles, along with Taylors ANW where Laura confronted Kimura.
Spec Spider-Man #6 needs a mention as well
Reading List (Super behind but reading them nonetheless):
DC: Currently figuring that out
Marvel: Read above

I did find that that story felt a bit like it ran out of steam towards the end, but I did have an interesting experience; I'd been reading Secret Wars (the original) for the first time around the time that I first picked up "Enemy of the State II," and it struck me that for whatever narrative flaws it had, the latter had more heart than the older ostensible "classic."
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."
(All-New Wolverine #4)
I would have to say Doctor Octopus switching minds with Peter Parker and becoming Spider-man's Superior
has to rank among the top WOW moments in recent Marvel
"We live in a world of cowards. We live in a world full of small minds who are afraid. We are ruled by those who refuse to risk anything of their own. Who guard their over bloated paucities of power with money. With false reasoning. With measured hesitance. With prideful, recalcitrant inaction. With hateful invective. With weapons. F@#K these selfish fools and their prevailing world order." Tony Stark
Let’s see:
Venom # 1- I’ve never been a big reader of Venom outside the pages of Spider-Man but I took a chance on this book and was so glad I did! My jaw just dropped by the last page.
Immortal Hulk 1- Same story and reaction with Venom.
AKA FlashFreak
Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.
