    Default Best published stories of General Grievous before his cybernetics?

    So apparently he volunteered for his cybernetic upgrades, are there any published CANON accounts of his life before his cybernetics? Comics? Novels?

    There barely are non-canon stories about that.

    Yeah, the closest we got really was the still-canon episode where we see a statue of his old self.

    Greivous's technology does play a bit of a role in the first Darth Vader comic series though.
