If you *do* mean tabletop games, then any board game becomes a beat em up after a bad enough run.

Pen and paper pro wrestling RPGs were the bomb in the 90s.

Bioware's Jade Empire had combat that was largely beating up guys by stringing together combos.

Best RPG-Beat Em Up ever imo with crossplay tooThe agreement also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-MEN with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that audiences have shown they love. It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn't be two Marvels.

Shenmue 1&2, those games took the Virtual Fighter mechanics and added them to an RPG adventure game.
