    Default "Beat 'em Up" RPGs

Have there been games that combined aspects of beat em ups and RPGs?

White Wolf once did a short-lived Streetfighter RPG.

Assuming that you don't mean tabletop games, Vanillaware says "Hi."

But for specific examples in their catalog, I would refer you to Muramasa (Rebirth/Complete), Odin Sphere (Liefthrasir), and especially Dragon's Crown (Pro). Maybe Princess Crown as well, but I'm not to familiar with that game.

And, of course, there's the Scott Pilgrim game for the PS3. Arguably, Musou-style games could count as beat em up RPGs as well.

If you *do* mean tabletop games, then any board game becomes a beat em up after a bad enough run.

Pen and paper pro wrestling RPGs were the bomb in the 90s.

    World Wide Wrestling is fantastic.

    For PS3/PS4/PSV

Best RPG-Beat Em Up ever imo with crossplay too
The agreement also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-MEN with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that audiences have shown they love. It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn't be two Marvels.

Shenmue 1&2, those games took the Virtual Fighter mechanics and added them to an RPG adventure game.
