She was caged and put on trial, she escaped and was running for her life. She was put through a crucible and that was the result, she tells Oracle exactly that. Incidentally, trying to escape is also the first time she was able to fly telekinetically

But that's not the point. The point is she was able to do by herself what every one of teammates couldn't do combined. At that point she's at a level far beyond any of the X-Men, and every story turns into "How do we stop Jeen from ending the plot by herself". Especially since right afterwards, she's scared of fighting Raze and Charles Jr. despite both of them being significantly weaker than Oracle or Gladiator.

Go back to the Trial of Jean Grey. The Imperial Guard was stomping the coalition of Star-Lord, Gamora, Angela, X-23, Tyke, Tangel, Tank, Tobby, Drax, Groot, Kitty, and Rocket. Drax being someone capable of fighting Hulk to a draw.

Jeen then effortlessly takes out every single one of them by herself, despite them having an extremely powerful telepath in Oracle, with almost zero trouble.

If you don't see what's wrong with that situation, I don't know what to tell you.

Then Oracle telepathically shouts at both sides and stops the fight (similar to what Jean did when the X-Men and Hellions were fighting each other before the Sentinel attack)

It's still wrong though...Jean is totally focused on Gladiator. She didn't "take out the Imperial guard by herself". Furthermore, it's Oracle who stops the fight...Rocket Racoon even quips that it's bad form to just psychically shut down a fight as it's just starting.

I might be misremembering, but didn't the shockwave from her first Pink Form attack knock the whole IG down? Plus she still floored Gladiator easily.

You're missing the forest for the trees. Jeen became significantly more powerful than every X-Man combined during her time in the books.

Lots of people have knocked down Gladiator...Cannonball used his kinetic field to absorb Gladiator punch, and redirected it into a punch of his own.

All the Poisons are linked to their queen. Jeen was a poison and her pink form allowes her to "leech" psy energy from everything. Jeen used her link to the hive and all poisons and had enough energy to make herself a new body

basically, the more people they killed, the stronger Jean got.

Its both. Her TP allowed her to connect to all those minds and use the psi-energy to boost her TK. Without her TP, she can not absorb psychic energy
