Emma is the opposite of a devourer
She's A Lifebringer
I can't help but think that's Hope remarking on Cable. XD
I was so hyped for this but so far it seems to be another generic bad future with no consecuences, the only difference is that the teen O5 are the excuse to tell it and i doubt they are going back to their time.
Its absolutely GORGEOUS. Larraz is LUV.
I'm pretty certain I'm in the minority here but I kinda want that cloaked figure to be Hope.
EDIT: took too long to type this out and apparently I'm NOT ALONE. Yay! lol
Hope or Tempus place your bets.
Not very interested but I'm curious how this will solve the problem with the O5.
I hope it is Hope...finally make her into something more then a plot device.
Some of us wait, some of us act.
Looks pretty bleak. Then again, that's par for the course with the X-men. There's a new dystopian future every other week, it seems. It's just a matter of how they set themselves apart.
I'm not sure who that cloaked figure is, but I suspect it might be a future version of O5 Jean. She at the heart of the O5's reasons for staying in the future to begin with. I think it makes sense for her to be part of the final plot that sends them back, if that is indeed how Extermination plays out. Whatever the case, I'm looking forward to the outcome.

Not sold on the dialogue. That first page reads very clunky. Of course, the constraints are trying to set something up without revealing secrets, and the other pages seem somewhat better, so wait and see.
I think we can tell another dystopia story. I think we can tell another, generic, dystopia story. It'll just need to be plotted densely and teeming with heart and character. If this is the finale of the O5, then heart particularly. The O5 hung around for far too long, but that longevity means that their disappearance must mean something, or at least feel like it does.
(I'm not opposed to the event if all it tries to do is send them back, but I think we can aim/hope a little bit higher)
