Very conflicted about the death of Cable. They could get him back using some time travel nonsense though, especially since he is killed by a younger version of himself. But, I enjoyed this issue overall

Cable² is most likely the son of Tyke and Jeen, right? He's probably under 20, no TO virus and apparent control of his powers.

Damn. This sounds...interesting actually. Look forward to seeing where it goes. Not real worried about spoilers:

Cable staying dead, especially since it sounds like a younger version of him is still around. Perhaps this is just a way to de-age and simplify the character some, and ultimately get him closer to his movie version.

This is me speaking to avoid spoilers for others:
I got to be honest here, I think that with the idea of the 05 leaving most people expected that character to be a causality of this event, even though it stinks.

More people are probably just surprised about the other death because they didn’t think they’d be a target or even be too popular to be killed off
