The hooded figure is an ominous sign. Makes me remember that BC rumor and BOY, am I scared. Good issue, overall, even though that first death will really get some fans of a character/hater of another talking **** for days now.

spoilers:end of spoilers
Very conflicted about the death of Cable. They could get him back using some time travel nonsense though, especially since he is killed by a younger version of himself.
But, I enjoyed this issue overall

Wow!
It was amazing!
Cool character moment for Cable, Adult Jean and Rachel.
and cool reveal of the hooded guy! now the people who were making toxic drama for it can finally shut up.
Damn. This sounds...interesting actually. Look forward to seeing where it goes. Not real worried about spoilers:end of spoilers
Cable staying dead, especially since it sounds like a younger version of him is still around. Perhaps this is just a way to de-age and simplify the character some, and ultimately get him closer to his movie version.
Won’t know anythign for sure until I read this when it comes up on ComiXology later this morning.
It was better than expected. I'll pick up the rest of the series.
Brisson is good with continuity without using it as a crutch. That's good news for Uncanny.
Weird that everybody's saying spoilers:end of spoilers, but not a single person has mentioned that spoilers:
Cable end of spoilers
Bloodstorm gets gruesomely murdered on her date with Cyke.
This is me speaking to avoid spoilers for others:
I got to be honest here, I think that with the idea of the 05 leaving most people expected that character to be a causality of this event, even though it stinks.
More people are probably just surprised about the other death because they didn’t think they’d be a target or even be too popular to be killed off
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
