Picked up the Swamp Thing Halloween issue last night at Wal-Mart. Only read the Capullo Swamp Thing story so far, which I liked. The rest of the stories are short anywhere from 6 - 12 pages long.

Man, when I saw Blue Devil on the cover, I was hoping it'd have that ridiculous Charlie Brown story in it. Glad I wasn't wrong.

    6. Batman #237 (1971)

Just out of curiosity, what part of the store was it located in?

I stopped by a pair of Wal-Mart stores recently, and folks looked at me like I was asking where they kept the frozen goat heads. Just utter confusion.

At my Walmart, they are located with the pokemon cards, etc. on the front end, near the grocery side self checkout registers. They are vendor controlled items, so the location may vary, store by store.

I hope this will result in the sales of more comics, and expand the comics' market.

Can somebody fill me in on whatever they're doing to Jonah Hex in Bendis' Batman story? Preferably with scans?
DC, please give Jonah Hex a new solo.

That's because what I said would happen way back in this thread has happened.

Speculators are going out and purchasing every copy, then selling them at their stories or on ebay for 2-3 times the amount.

all the #3 issues, some #2's and the Swamp Things are collecting dust at my local Walmart. Plenty of copies there.
