Vergil (Devil May Cry) vs Kain (Legacy of Kain)

Both are aiming for the kill. Who wins? Kain has the Soul Reaver's full power and all his powers and weapons. Vergil has Devil Trigger, Yamato and Beowulf.

Vergil is much faster so he likely wins.

If Kain manages to stop him with an AoE or something then he might take it because the Soul Reaver is an absurdly deadly weapon. He might be able to do some gimmicks with either mind control or mist form perhaps.

But Vergil with the blitz seems most likely.

Main gets full powers? That means Blood Omen one. Full power Soul Reaver?

This combo fucks Vergil royally.

This Kain can do time slow down trick, teleport, launch auto hit/seeking lightning from the skies, and a sword that if it connects in any form, is a insta kill via soul rip so painful it explodes most things (not to mention has magic spells that can straight up kill your soul.)

And has armor that if striking him, you get half damage while he does, and a magic spell that auto hits, drains you of blood and it goes to him. ( Said spell is aoe. As that spell in game hits everything on screen/visible so blood goes to you.)


Edit: Also if he can use Heart of Darkness, resurrection in battle, and he can **** with gravity to crush you like a bug.


Composite Kain is a “beast.” As in theory Council of Bine members are the closest things to walking Gods in Nosgith (aside demonic Hylden and The Eldar Soul water false God.)

For Cycle Members govern aspects of reality. Kain? He is the Pillar day f Balance. He can literally shift probability!! And the canceled Dark Prophesy we would have seen his tale end. Damn you reality for making it not possibly bow to do.



Edit2: And yes the most potent thing if we are including BO1 style Kain. He can MULTI-task. Meaning with all his power ups and stuff he can spam this stuff from Get go. Including giving time stop, Unlimited magic, and then one hit kill anythingvwith soul reaver ( how I beat the bosses in BO1. Once you got the Soul Reaver, use it with unlimited mana ball and you can kill anything in one hit. Including bosses who are immune to one hit tricks. Why? That combo gives you infinite damage. As in BO1 the Soul Reaver is as strong as your magic pol. Use the Mana orb for unlimited magic, switch to Soul Reaver. Can kill /anything for next three minutes in one hit!! Seriously! Including the bosses. As that combingives you infinite attack damage.)

Defiance had a screwy representation of Kain's abilities to make him fit more with Raziel's playstyle. Based on the other games, Kain can take a truckload of punishment, and he's got a lot of AoE and, of course, soul ripping. Plus I mean, lets not neglect that one of his most basic powers is TK articulate enough to just rip the blood out of a person's body, and when used for actual combat or other utility, powerful enough to move huge columns and junk.

The funny thing about Kain in Defiance is they made his bat morph a explsintation for auto save/playing again should he hit water or actually lost a fight. ( as in right before dying skin goes “nope!” And turns into bats, flies away and forms into a fresh Kain.)
