this is such a complex story, I feel like I need to read all the previous issues each time a new one comes out to have it fresh in my mind... but who has that kinda time?

Why don't you reread the whole series, take notes for each issue, and that way you'll have your notes for when the next issue comes out, without needing to reread it again and again?
It saves you time.
