I agree. I appreciate the panel though. Gay characters are often normalized and desexualized, so its nice to see them actually show. I wish this was just the original Pyro if we were going to go there. This Pyro is too obvious and too forced.

Because like you said, her sexuality has never been clarified. I mostly take issue with the hardcore "and now my gay girl will show herself to be gay" headcanoning that seems to take place around here. Like what you like but don't act like it's already established and that every time it doesn't happen you've been personally jipped just because your headcanon was not canonized and how dare marvel.

I don't really see Illyana ever getting romantically attached to anyone due to her trauma as a child. She's got Kitty as her BFF and Piotr there to help her out if she ever needs support, but thus far it doesn't seem like anyone is really even close to tackling the events of her childhood and how that's affected her in terms of functional relationships.

I agree. I cannot understand why something which has never once been addressed or even hinted at, and which is so unimportant to her character, is so important to some people. I'd be perfectly happy if her sexuality is never addressed, because not only is it irrelevant, I feel it would take away from her character to be in a relationship unless she's given a solo.

Someone else gives the impression that Bobby is gay, he lost masculinity, not because he is gay, but because he seems a passive and effeminate gay, at the wedding of Rogue and gambit was the most mannered in poses on the panel (besides be a bridesmaid XD).

I do. The panel with him holding Kurt --his pose is out of the blue and ridiculously mannered, which I find quite offensive.

RE: Top and bottom. One joke, it's OK. But the continuous posts about these assumptions are very reductive. I guess you all now that sex (thanks be to the gods and goddess) it's not all about penetration (is this word allowed here?) and that even penetration may be done by any person in multiple ways at his/her own discretion at a given time.

Besides, maybe Illyana was trying to develop sexual feelings but they just never sprouted.

That seems like right. For the moment, at least. I rather have a slow but smart approaching to Illyana sexuality that a botched job.

I think the Bobby and Simon thing is kinda cute I rather see him with someone else, but I can get behind that relationship.

I would rather Iceman hook up with Northstar but this Bobby/Simon is the second best for me. Pyro being gay was a complete surprise for me and he hooking up with Iceman a double surprise.

But I so love this issue......

Hope this relationship carry over to his solo after X-Men Gold ends.

Either way, Daken x Iceman isn't happening. And Pyro & Iceman is, which is no surprise. That former ship was never gonna happen. Daken was just a guest star in his solo, which was getting cancelled. Now they're moving possibly for a more genuine relationship for Iceman, rather than leaving it at hookups.

Typically, it seems Marvel is for Heroes with Heroes, and Villains with Villains. So Pyro makes more sense than Daken. Thank goodness that one didn't happen.

If Gugg should continue writing, then Ice and Fire might become a genuine relationship after all, they had sex THREE times in one night.

If they didn't like each other, ONE time would be more than enough. LOL

But we have a different writer Sina Grace in his solo, it might be forgotten.... Let's hope not.

Sabretooth isn't supposed to be ugly. He is drawn as attractive by all non cartoony artists. Especially in the more "serious" comics (like flashbacks of Logan, Sabretooth and Maverick working for the CIA during the cold war in the 60s).

Ok. Now I'm gonna hope for years and years and Mystique and Creed together. I hope that she's instantly on every book he's in. I'm gonna enjoy every panel of it thinking about how much you hate it.
