Default The Most Heroic Scenes That Have Nothing To Do With The Film's Climax

    The Great Escape has two:
    • Steve McQeen agreeing to get caught to provide information for future escapes
    • James Garner insisting on taking the blind Donald Pleasence with him at his own risk

    "No greater love..."

    Others?

TFA might be the weakest cap film but thats not saying much because to me as a trilogy its second only to The apes films. But the scene is the epitome of who Cap is. That and the the I can do this all day scene are cap in a nutshell.

Hawkeye coming out of retirement to liberate Wanda from (comfortable) internment at Cap's behest because it's just the right thing in his mind in CA:CW

It doesn't qualify because it probably is related to the climax, but the nameless SHIELD tech, who's clearly terrified of the gun to his head, but still refuses to launch the Insight Carriers was probably the bravest guy in all CA:TWS

Is that the same guy who ends up on the Helicarrier in "A:AoU?"

The Native American guy fighting the Predator in the original movie.

Hooper going into the shark cage to try and pump Jaws with poison

Private Vasquez making her last stand against the alien horde

That one space marine leader guy who fought Jason in Jason X after all the other space marines were dead.

Yeah. I like to think he was on his way home from whatever job he found after SHIELD imploded, when Fury stepped out of nowhere and said, "I heard about you. You ready to do the right thing one more time?"

(ps: you know you just read that quote in S.L. Jackson's voice )
