Now more than ever the DCU needs Rip Hunter and the Timemasters to come back. Messing with the time stream seems to be the favorite pastime of DC heroes these days, and it needs to stop. In just the last year or so you have had time travel shenanigans in Superman, Batman, and Flash. Those are just the ones off the top of my head there could be more.

Rip needs to come back and save Booster from the character assassination that Tom King is dead set on saddling the guy with, and get some law and order back to time travel in the DCU. Bring back Waverider and the Linear Men while you at it.

Thanks for making me aware of some of the background to Rip. At the very least let's repair the damage done to the character itself by the TV show. I would love to see time based adventures that have nothing do with Time Paradoxes and Butterfly Effects. Hopefully back stories are available somewhere.

Yeah, I would love to see a Time Masters series but I don't know if it should be focused so much on the superhero community. I would llove to see RIP, Booster and Waverider be "time cops" but have it more like Doctor Who or Quantum Leap. Have them travel to where they are needed and put right what once went wrong. I would buy that!
But once it gets too focused on just superheroes, you get into that continuity fiasco that goes on regularly.

I think his point was to use Rip to stop the superhero continuity fiascos. Which will never happen. We really just need to let go of continuity as a firm thing.

Take I don't know will be popular or not: I prefer Rip not related to Booster.
