Default Most defensible home base in comics/manga

Fortress of Solitude. X Mansion. Batcave.

The list goes on! What fortress/base in comics is the best defended and hardest to break into?

    Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Yeah, Strange's Sanctum was my first thought. I did a "Masters of Evil try to bust into Strange's Mansion" thread back in the day. It was pretty great.

I’d have thought the HQ for Hank Pym’s Avengers team post Secret Invasion was also pretty secure. A pocket dimension only accessible by the Avengers themselves.

In fact, didn’t the Exiles have something similar?

Yeah, they eventually more or less took over a base set in a pocket universe or something that only they could access for a while.

    Washu's Lab.

You'd need to be able to break dimensional boundaries and survive whatever she might have in there to stand a chance.

    Good contenders

Dr Fate's salem tower. No doors or windows and mysrically shielded. IIRC it took amazing man (who could alter his molecular structure to become a part of solid objects and nove thru them) hours to get drom one side to thw other of a wall. I also recall someone else trying to pund their way out finding thw walls repaired themselves of damage and another found that rooms moved within (like hogwarts) so that the rooms near the outside were inside.

Stranges Sanctum Sanctorum, though anyone with a shadow cloak (like devil slayers) can breach it.

    House of mystery as stated.

    House of wierd.
