Yeah the Ant Man thing where he can stand on the end of a gun that someone is holding. If he is supposed to retain his mass, the gun holder should not be able to hold up Ant Man.

Advanced robots that take every command in an overly literal manner.

On a related note, super-scifi weapons that miss. Over long distance in space, against a frantically maneuvering target, I can maybe get. But you'd think that if you're advanced enough to have a hand-held beam weapon capable of melting a tank, somebody would have built better targeting into it.
Tbf, he does have super powers.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned 90 pound women able to beat up a room full of heavily muscled 300 pound men in hth combat using gymnastics and dancing moves yet.

Also, heavily advanced races losing to people in tune to nature because nature >>>>>> technology.

    That's hardly specific of sci-fi.

It's only slightly less realistic than The Rock doing the same.

How is The Rock doing it unrealistic?

How is any regular human taking a room full of 300 pound men in hand to hand realistic?
Are these extremely small rooms or something?

As long as they follow the rule and attack one by one, he can handle them.
5'6" Tom Cruise does the same thing in Jack Reacher.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I didn't think the implication of "room full of" was one at a time.

Depends on the human's strength and skill level.

I was making a joke about another trope of these fights. The "one at a time" rule.

Skills actually matter much less than movies and comic books would like you to believe.
