I didn't care about Cable for a long time until I read the Cable/Soldier X serie by Tishman, Macan and Kordey, it was amazing. I then discovered the Casey/Ladronn run and the Cable/Deadpool serie and he became one of my favourite X-Men character.

Never cared about Deadpool until I read the Joe Kelly run, fantastic stuff !

AoX and AoX aftermath made me pay attention to Frenzy's character. In terms of character I admire, she ranks in my top 5. Unlike most X-Men, she didn't become one seeking shelter, help with her powers or some sort of debt. AoX warped the minds of a lot of people, but in her case, it showed her a life and function within that life she hadnt experienced before or understood. She liked being a hero and protecting others. So much so she left with Wolverine to work at a SCHOOL of all places. A merc and former Acolyte. Turns out, she was/is an adrenaline junky. She only did what she did for the rush of it all. But the feeling of being needed and helping people in need gave her a feeling unlike anything she'd felt before. She's a hero because she wants to be a hero. That's the best kind, much like Wolverine himself. In a pinch she's the one thats going to lay it all down to secure the lives of the people around her. I love Frenzy and she deserves an active role in a book.

Realistically speaking about fictional matters. | Nutcases need not respond. | Stay outta my DMs. | Why does the "House of Ideas" keep duplicating characters?! | If an idea or belief cannot stand up to criticism it's probably... bad.

PAD's Madrox mini catapulted Multiple Man into favorite character status.

Didn't really care for ForgetMeNot until Spurrier got his hands on him.

I bet someone here said Sina Grace on Iceman.

    But on a serious note...
Aaron's run of Wolverine & the X-Men made me like Quentin Quire
    Sam Humphries made like Star-Lord
Bendis made like the Stepford Cuckoos

I can't remember which run made me like Emma Frost. I missed out on a lot of Gen X and I was salty she was the cause of Scott and Jean splitting. I guess it was the move to San Francisco.

True plus Darwin and Siryn. Sucks he killed Rahne's son and baby daddy though.

That happened in X-Force? I wonder if the wiki entry was tagged wrong.

PAD made me actually like Danger in his All New X-Factor series. Hated the character before that.
