I'm with you on this. I liked Bunn on the Magneto series, but since Uncanny ended, he hasn't been writing very well, imo.

I took that to mean Magneto and Cable would both get another solo, not that they would be together

Lonnie Nadler and Zac Thompson really deserve another serie after the great job they did on the Cable ongoing.

I thought Cable was being groomed for that SHIELD book? From Bendis' Iron Man.

I'd prefer him to end up there than here. I'm not super interested in the two interacting anyway.

I see the Shield stuff as taking place in the Bendisverse. Canon is optional.

I remember they stated that they were not writing Cable anytime soon. So if they are doing Black it either doesnt include Cable or it was a recent development
