It is weird to see people complain about what books are called. It does matter what books are called you can name the books " The Worst X-men team ever 1 and 2" and put rotating artist Jim Lee, Mark Silveristi, Joe Mad and Olivier Coipel with Grant Morrison, Ta-Nehisi Coates and Scott Snyder writing them.People will buy them because of quality of the team on it. So Astonishing, Extreme, New, Amazing, Uncanny and Adjectiveless or Gold, Red, Black and Blue it doesn't matter except what is inside.

So who do fans think are the most likely candidates, to be on this radical new team with Mags, in his return to badassery? Let's discount any & all characters currently on Red, Astonishing, and Weapon X. I'm gonna say:

Polaris
Archangel
Moonstar (repowered)
Sunspot
Dust
Daken

Probably more wishful thinkin' than anything, but hey, ya know...

Strongly considered Sunfire, Bishop, Monet, & Frenzy, too. Lucas would be the only one to not provide a power overlap, tho, despite Erik & Lorna both bein' there. But that's not really all that different from the Prof with Jean and/or Betts. There's always Emma also, if they kiss & make up, by the end of Blue.

Maybe some more of the Acolytes, particularly Frenzy, Unuscione & Voght. Maybe Bloodstorm or Gazing Nightshade stick around. I would've said Mystique or Sabretooth if Weapon X wasn't still going I can't see Polaris sticking with Erik if he continues to murder. Sunfire, Marrow or Monet perhaps?

Great post! I like all your suggestions especially the 3 Acolytes women and Scanner.......and maybe throw in Gazing Nightshade. I don’t like when Marve introduces a character, and then throws them away once a writer leaves.
