I think this is a mainstream book. They already changed the Dora Milaje and Okoye to match the movie version. It's unfortunately not surprising that they would do the same to Shuri.

I like both versions of Shuri, but this one just doesn't make any sense in the current Marvel comic universe. I'll still buy it, but I'll have to separate it in my own head cannon.

You COULD have done this more easily before Coates turned her into the Queen of hte Dead encylocpedia thing.
