The character described in the solicit is nothing like ANY version of Shuri that's ever appeared in the comics.

I like movie Shuri, but this is a wild departure.

Well since the story takes place after T’chall’s got lost in space, I think that Coates’ crap is still canon due to the storm flashbacks going on in the current arc. Maybe Marvel is saying “**** it” and hitting the reset button anyway.

If the comic doenst get canceled, once Tchalla comes back, this version of Shuri should move to Silicon Valley and run a WK tech company/fight crime. Gets her out of Tchallas shadow to do her own thing. Like Dick moving to Bludhaven.
