Hate this new costume. The original still hasn't gotten enough panel time. Still...great to see her. I wouldn't mind seeing her in an ongoing. Maybe she can trade shifts with Sage in X-Force so Tessa can get some sleep

Considering she was Gentle's teased love interest in Red, I assume she was closer to his age, putting her in the New X-men gen. She got paired up with him and X-23 when it came to whom she interacted with the most outside of Jean

I think that has less to do with her powerset and more to do with our society being a largely technologically driven one.

It is broad because her power would do nothing most of time. And it even with it being kinda broad her power does nothing useful most of time. In certian situations she flat out a God and other situation pretty much useless.

See Cypher for what happens when you make a power too speficic. Then look at the adjustment they have try to make to his power relevant in more stories. It is comic as she has be able to do something in most stories
