i haven't read issue 6 yet, but she hasn't done anything memorable and is pretty much a nothing character to me. i'll give her some time, but as of now, i could care less about her

I like her well enough, I just wish her powerset was a bit more interesting.
I mean it's powerful and she's been using it creatively with the sentinel, the bank accounts, phone hacking, telling the plane to open its cargo hold, etc. But I do wish her interface with machines had a more visually exciting component, right now Trinary just talks to them. It's boring like Hijack from Bendis' run.

Telepaths have their power signatures, Cypher can talk in binary code, Omega Sentinel and Danger have cables that let them jack into machines in order to hack them

For a little while Madison Jeffries had a green text box whenever his technopathic power was used. I think something like this could help, it would let you know when she's using her power, if she gets interrupted then you know it didn't work, and it's visually distinctive


And on the other end of the spectrum she could do what Night Thrasher does and have to fight security and anti-virus software in cyberspace.

She's alright. Unfortunately I fear she will be left forgotten on the wayside once Taylor is done with Red. Id love for her to be utilized outside of him. She has potential

Gabby's being used by another writer in X-23 so there's hope, in actuality they'll both be lucky to be appearing monthly or even bi-monthly through the next series of relaunches and shake ups that are all to common at Marvel.

I think her powers are cool, and would like to see more of her. She hasn't been around for too long so I can't form a real opinion on her, but as of right now I like her just fine.

I like her so far -- much better than Hijack at any rate. And so what if they share similar powers. You can't throw a rock without hitting a telepath or Wolverine son/clone. Besides, there should be more South Asian mutants, just because of the population ratio.

I was gonna come in here and mention Hijack also. Trinary hasn't really done enough yet for me to like/dislike her, although I am leaning more towards like at this point. I do want to see her and Hijack meet though.

Pretty much. She's just... there. Her sad backstory isn't endearing me to her any more than his sad backstory is endearing me to Gentle. I'll need to see more of them as characters, not as power sets and cool visuals.

A danger room cross training session between Trinary and Hijack would be cool if written cleverly.

Her powers are too unrealistic. Imagine controlling some electronics that are several km away.
That would be greater than Xavier's powers.

I say yes. I like Trinary. I won't say she's my favorite yet. She hasn't had enough time to really develop or distinguish herself, but she has already shown that she can handle herself in the X-men. She's likable, sweet, and friendly. That's a good start, but I think she has a long way to go. I hope she gets plenty of opportunities.

You mean like Kid Abomination, who showed up in Red #6, having been introduced in Superior Iron Man... which was also written by Tom Taylor.

Other writers have used him between those appearances though: he was a team member in the Howling Commandos series by Frank Barbiere and appeared with the team in an arc of Old Man Logan by Jeff Lemire.
