I didn't think the line was that bad. She expressed doubts, but in a reasonable way. Especially when you consider that 1) the last few times she was on a field mission, she was nearly unkillable and using a completely different set of powers. Thus, she's rusty. and 2) She's got a little bit more skin in the game considering a certain little boy is waiting for his mama to come home.

I don't think she is dead, or that "Patch" is actually sitting on the couch. I think Psylocke is breaking out the psychic manipulation.

I want that to be what’s happening, but it sounds too good to be true. Until proven otherwise, she’s dead as far as I’m concerned.

What I really loved is how the writers didn't even seem to want to fully commit to the idea that she was a vampire. I remember reading an issue of Wood's X-Men series where Beast asked her about the way she was carrying around Shogo in that backpack thing of hers and she said something like "He likes it. I think he falls asleep listening to my breathing". And I'm just thinking "Jubilee, you're a vampire. You don't breathe." The light-bender amulet always seemed like an afterthought too. Half the time, I'm pretty sure the artists forgot to draw it on her.

I agree. This preview shows Domino at her finest. Her solo series is great and all, but this really showed why she's so much fun.

I just want to see what happens to Psy, Rogue, and Storm.

In part #4, the beginning flashback will feature either Rogue, Storm or Jubilee. Since it's only a 4 part story, somebody is going to be left out. I hope the beginning flashback deals with Rogue and the events of UXM#173...
