Ororo has enough ranged options to at least have a real shot at dropping him. Too bad she is far too slow to use them before he guts her.

Carnage can shotgun shards of his symbiote at enemies, as well as lash out neck-snapping tendrils, at speeds Spider-Man can barely dodge. Storm's getting hit before she can do anything. Her main hope is that Carnage doesn't do an immediate kill shot, and if he snags her with a tendril, she has a precious second or two of him reveling in his moment of triumph that she can maybe channel lightning directly from her body into him. If she can stagger him with that, she'll have to just pour on the lightning non-stop and hope the heat kills the symbiote before she passes out from exertion or the damage he inflicted.

Even if its only 20 feet (It's probably considerably more) he can cross enough distance to close the required gap regardless methinks.

I've seen him shoot tendrils at helicopters a fair distance away come to think of it.

Well, holy crap. Sure, I knew he had range, but I was nowhere near that kind of estimation.

At this point, it might as well be magic.

Unlike Venom who the writers keep as 'Spider-Man but better', Carnage was born as 90s EXTREME! and the writers just keep going with that.

You took the Symbiote out of his body, you say? No, he's permanently bonded to it and regenerates it out of his blood because that's how cool and edgy he is. Sentry kills him by literally ripping him in half? You silly goose. His symbiote obviously keeps him alive in space for a month. Also, he can control multiple people now. You blow his head up? Doesn't even slow him down. A race whose entire shtick is taking over symbiotes? They shit their collective pants at the thought of Carnage.

He's one of those characters.
