I tend to think that superheroes in general use to do a lot things aside the law that are very rarely addressed on this basis.

Man I miss the 80s/90's super rich white families, Boarding Schools on every corner ready to take in as many minority wise asses the world threw at them

Only thing different nowadays is that the school is open about what it really is. That's when it truly became a school, ironically.
