She might have been called Shadow Girl in her first appearance, I'm not sure. In the later comics, before the reboot, her cousin became the champion of Talok VIII, Shadow Kid. It's established lore that Talokians have champions of their planets. And in Robinson's STARMAN, Mikaal Tomas (aka Starman) was the champion of Talok III. So I'd like to see the torch passed to another Talok champion.

Well, I'm not the biggest Legion fan out there, but......

I'd like to see whatever passes for the core roster; Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Brainiac 5........

Ultra Boy, Shadow Lass, Colossal Boy are fine.

Valor feels like a must to me.

But what I really want to see are some present-day legacies. I want to see the Legion have more direct ties to the modern world, with a few heroic mantles that have been passed down, technology that originated with recognized names, cities and monuments named after people we know, etc.

I want XS on the Legion, but as the Flash of the 31st century. I want to see a Kent. Could be Laurel (or whatever the old Legion member's name was), a teenaged Clark, or Jon, Conner, Kara, someone new, I don't care. Valor would do in a pinch. But I want to see that "S" shield in the Legion. I want to see a Robin, and I want to know that there's a Batman out there somewhere even if we never see him.

I don't want the entire Legion roster made up of modern-day descendants and legacies like that Justice League 3000 series, but I do want to see a few familiar emblems on the Legion roster. I want it to feel more like a continuation of the DCU, rather than its own separate, barely connected thing like the post-Crisis version so often felt like (to me).

Yours is a very interesting list. Your cut-off seems to be after Tyroc joins but before Dawnstar. You have Invisible Kid I and Ferro Lad still alive (which I like) but no Bouncing Boy, Matter Eater Lad, or Light Lass.

This is what I love about Legion fans. We all have our favorite line-ups.
