Well, I think I can finally post. I've used Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on 3 different PCs and even my cell phone and kept getting the database error more often than anything. And it is as slow as molasses in February. What in the wide world of sports is going on? At one time I was able to click on the contact administrator link but no reply ever received.

Another symptom I saw was when I clicked the back arrow as suggested or refreshed. I would see a stripped down version of the forum with no graphics, just text. But it still wouldn't work. Seems to be a lot better today in the respect at last I can see the forum but it's very slow. But I was trying repeatedly on Tuesday evening with no luck

After my problem earlier this morning, it seems to be better. Fingers crossed that the problem doens't occur again.

Seemed better a couple hours ago, but now it's back to how it was yesterday...lots of db errors, and when the page does load, it takes a loooong time.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

So, response times are no longer slow on my end, and I've been able to go from thread to thread without ending up on the database error page. While I don't have any high hopes, I think that it's finally ended. It'd be quite ironic if it started happening again once I post this, so...

It was particularly bad on the really big threads, like the All News and Politics thread in the community forum or the Black Panther Appreciation thread. In the old scheme, they used to split the larger threads when they go to a certain post level. I think it was 5,000 posts. Could this be an issue?

All is well now for the past few hours. No db errors, and the pages load as quickly as they did before this issue popped up a couple of days back.
