Yes, she should. Like I said earlier, Marco Failla (who previously drew an arc of Ms Marvel) seems to have used Kamala Khan's character model, instead of using 1980s Uncanny X-Men as a design reference. Notably, she also shouldn't have bangs.

Maybe the real reason this exists, along with the Mystique one-shot that has the same creative team, is to serve as a try-out for the writer? The editors liked what she turned in and she got given Spider-Gwen on that basis?

Noticed on the guy's bed something that looks like psp or a vita...odd since neither of those devices existed when Kitty would have been at camp, unless they've changed the decade when she was supposedly at camp...and yeah whoever the character is at best they'll show up for a bit and then the almost wedding and such will dominate Kitty and Colossus interaction for a good long while...with Marvel probably trying to make Kitty the victim...

They have changed the decade, lol. She's in her 20s, not her 40s. It'll be set around 10 years ago, not in the 1980s. Around 25 years later than when her leaving for camp would've originally happened. So yes, PSP did exist.

The PSP came out in 2005 and Kitty is 14 in the story. It's very doubtful that she's currently in her late 20s.

But ten years ago our time was not when Kitty was a kid, wasn't she on Excalibur already ten years ago, and not in camp so it all gets messed up...and retcon of what decade Kitty would have even gone to camp...

No, just that when she was created and was a teen originally it was decades ago, they've apparently changed the time period in which Kitty was a teen from the 70's or whatever to after the year 2000...

Rule #107 of Marvel: characters are not allowed to age. The entire space-time continuum will change before the age of characters will.
Rule #107A of Marvel: Unless a character is aged up from 14 to 17 so self-insert Excalibur character Pete Wisdom can bang Kitty Pryde. Which was CREEPY AS HELL.
