Wonder Woman -- in Justice League or Justice Society?

The Justice League is THE premiere DC superhero-team. And Wonder Woman being one of their premiere characters, naturally she belongs there.

That said, I wouldn't mind her being on the JSA under the following circumstances-


1. If its on Earth 2 or some other parallel earth/alternate timeline, then it totally makes sense for the Diana of that reality to be on the JSA.

2. If Diana is retconned into being an immortal who's been around for decades, if not centuries, and was once a member of the JSA during WW2. But given that they've just done Diana's origins again and established her as debuting after Superman and Batman, I don't see this happening.

3. Hippolyta as Wonder Woman time-travelling to the 1940's and serving in the JSA, which was how it was Pre-Flashpoint.

That's the way it use to be back before CoIE and everything worked out nicely (at least once they moved beyond having her serve as the glorified recording secretary who didn't do much else).

And I wouldn't want that to happen at this stage of the game. Don't turn comic book Wonder Woman into big screen Wonder Woman at this late date! It just makes her history/backstory even more screwed up than DC had already made it!

It may have been an interesting quirk that I enjoyed from back in Byrne's run, but considering how they already revamped the Amazons/Themyscira under Rebirth so that once you leave the island, you don't return. It would just add to the confusion of once again messing with an already fragile backstory/history for the Wonder Woman mythos. DC chose a reworking of the path for Rebirth, and for better or worse they should just move on from there at this point.
