Print: Superman, Nightwing, Super Sons, Doomsday Clock, Young Justice, Books of Magic, Batman: Creature of the Night, Ascender, Birthright, Black Hammer, . Digital: Action Comics, Batman, Detective Comics, Batman Beyond, Flash, Justice League, Titans, Teen Titans, Deathstroke, The Wild Storm, Terrifics, Naomi, The Dreaming, Star Wars, Black Science, The Magic Order, Gideon Falls, Giants, Archie, Riverdale, Maxwell's Demons.

In fact the first issue of SUPERMAN was not even numbered or cover dated and might have been intended as a one-shot. It had two other print runs in the same year after it came out. I guess sales were good enough to justify a second issue. The first three issues were all reprints* (from ACTION COMICS and the newspaper dailies), before issue No. 4 that had original material.

This pattern of quarterly initially and then becoming bi-monthly was followed by BATMAN, ALL-STAR COMICS, WORLD'S FINEST COMICS, COMIC CAVALCADE, ALL-FUNNY COMICS, MUTT & JEFF, BOY COMMANDOS, ALL-FLASH, GREEN LANTERN and WONDER WOMAN.

*edit: The origin in SUPERMAN No. 1 did have added panels that weren't in ACTION COMICS No. 1.

Yes, the first issue of Superman was intended as a one-shot, but it sold so well that DC printed a second issue.

Yes, I was reading in the 47th price guild the article about the Superman reprints being distinguished from Superman #1. It is interesting to read, if not hair splitting. I suppose that Superman #1 with a first print designation will in time seperate itself out in the market.
