How much do you spend on comic books per month?

Well, I try to spend around U$200 and, actually, I don't go beyond this value. I'm very strict with my expenses. It is a hobby, after all.

I make a DCBS order monthly and on average, it's about $120. All depends on what's up for preorder.

Like some other folks in the thread, I have a Marvel Unlimited subscription, so that's another $60 or so annually.

I limit myself to £50 a month which, if I shop around, can get me around three/four good books. In times like summer when I have no lectures and only a job, I can easily go over that.

Physical I only buy the Legion of Superheroes Omnis so about 40 dollars a year. Digitally hard to say I spent a lot over the last 10 years so maybe just to maintain the little bit (don't get new now that Superman ended it's great Rebirth run) I wanna say between 10 and 20 dollars a month but that should go down. I'll guess $10 a month not counting the yearly annual.

For single-issue comic books, maybe around $25.00 or so a month (at present).
For any tpb collected editions, that varies since I don't buy them every month.

My regular DCBS order runs about $80-90 a month, up to $150 after I've added trades/collections. I also have a pull box at my LCS, where I try to keep my subscription list below $50 a month.

So I probably average around $200, give or take.

I always wondered If I could go back to the early sixties and if I was working and loved comics like I do now,
what would my buying habits be?
Would I buy all Marvel off the racks?
Would I buy all D C off the racks
A few form each?
Would I buy Harvey or Archie or Dell or another publisher
and what would my weekly haul be? 2 books? or 5 books? or 15 books?
and for the month would I be buying 50 singles and 3 giants/annuals and would my
monthly tab be a whooping $6.75
