Not at all. Liked Multiversity, that's it though. Not a name that attracts me to a title, quite the opposite.
Mildly interested but that's about it. I don't think Morisson has much else to say about superheroes after All-Star Superman. I would rather see more original work from him like Happy.
I am curious. Morrison has some good ideas but the way he executes his ideas are very uneven. I am curious to see what Morrison gives us and if he can execute on his ideas well.
“Somewhere, in our darkest night, we made up the story of a man who will never let us down.”
- Grant Morrison on Superman
I'm sure the animated movie based on his run will be mediocre at best and derided by fans.
I'm super excited. His superhero stories are some of my all-time favorites (Batman run, All-Star Supes, JLA) and a good Green Lantern story is always interesting. Here's hoping he knocks it out of the park.
He's about 50/50 with me. I guess it depends on which Morrison shows up but I'll read it to decide for sure.
So what is on his agenda for DC at the mo
The Green Lantern
Wonder Woman Earth One Vol 2
Arkham Asylum II
Multiversity Too
Am I missing anything ?
Not much, mostly cause at the moment I'm still concerned about Kyle Rayner's destiny.
Moreover Morrison is not among my favorite writers even if I recognize his value.
In any case, I'll give him a look. I hope that at least Guy will be present.
I'm excited since it's Morrison, obviously, but, at the same time, kind of disappointed.
Grant is very good at large scale, cosmic stories, and I'd love him to have handled that type of scenarios.
Having him write detective stories with Hal Jordan, while it will obviously turn out to be very good, feels like a waste of talent.
Then again, half way through, as the story unfolds, we might see it get bigger and bigger.
