He immediately tries to seduce T'Pol only to find that his tactileneck is useless against the Vulcan Nerve Pinch.
On the other hand, Malcolm Reed soon adopts the tactileneck as standard gear.

It would basically be like Zapp Brannigan on Futurama, except Archer is highly effective in straight-combat and Zapp isn't. Archer would kick a lot of ass right up until his ineptness at every other aspect of leadership got the entire galaxy to declare war on earth.

The way to watch Enterprise is to completely skip the first three seasons. This also works well for Angel, except that you should skip the first four seasons of Angel.
