Comic Wesley, as I recall, is easily in the bullet-timer speed category.

This makes it somewhat problematic for Cap to hit him with the shield on a direct throw. Rebound might do it, but that means that Cap is facing a bullet-timer with ridiculous accuracy and guns out for a length of time while the shield is flying through the air.

And I have issues with Cap managing to 'aim-dodge' a bullet-timer with Wesley's accuracy, or cover enough of his body not to get shot while Wesley is keeping his distance, continually shooting him with the accuracy of a dude who, pre-training, could shoot the wings off of flies.

Wesley is a low-ish bullet timer and his accuracy is ridiculous. Plus he has flight boots, a suit that makes him invisible and I think intangible and a gun that shoots nuclear bullets.

He should be able to handle Cap easily enough.

Also, Wanted is an awful, awful book.

I'm not going to comment on the comic, though what little I've seen of it doesn't make it 'wanted' for me (ahahaha...horrid).

I knew he had some kind of mobility boost; flight boots, right.

It's an incredibly mean-spirited and juvenile piece of work.

I would recommend looking at the last page of the book. Literally the final page. I've not seen a book that has such open ugly contempt for its readers in quite a while.

I actually have. I knew I couldn't finish the story. So I just skipped to the last few pages, and jeez.

It's truly awful. Just google it. Really.

'Ugly contempt' is a kind way of putting it.

It looks like they tried to pull a Tyler Durden from Fight Club, and it just ... it was bad. Plus, you know, tribal tats.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Everything said here is true. I actually kind of liked the movie. I mean, it was dumb as anything but it was at least fun. But that is largely because it had almost no resemblance to the comic it was ostensibly based off of.
