Wow! I feel honoured and humbled. Deep down I had hopes for a win because I knew the Joshua Middleton cover was beautiful, but was there anyone else out there in that vast ocean that appreciated it as much as myself? Yes there was. THANK YOU! A special thanks to Iron Maiden, Kirby101, Ajax_X, Shalla Bal and Scott Taylor for voting for me and The Darknight Detective for giving me a silver medal. There were a ton of fantastic covers.
I'm also excited for the Aquaman movie. I've been reading my Aquaman 75 Years HC and loving the early artwork from Ramona Fradon and Nick Cardy.
Sorry for posting so late but I just got back from watching Ant-Man & The Wasp at the flicks with my better half. What a great fun movie. One of my faves. I'll put up a new cover contest up tomorrow morning European time if that's ok.

Congratulations to Raffi Ol D'Arcy for a cover which brought Shark Week back to school. It's a rare but subtle exhibition of a hero's abilities and powers which clearly show Aquaman is leading the school of fearsome sea creatures.
As to what the captain has learned this week, he realizes that strong emotions and feels exist in many real life items, such as shark. Sometimes all we need is reality. I'd go on more, but someone at the door is telling me I have a candygram.
