    Default Is the Jack Kirby Fourth World good?

    Let me know what you guys think about the storyline, characters, etc.

    It depends on your tastes. Jack Kirby was a nearly unstoppable cauldron of imagination, but his writing style is not exactly subtle. With the Fourth World books, he had adopted an amped up version of Stan Lee's bombastic style that can be a bit much, but Tom King's quoting Kirby at the start of each issue of the superlative Mr. Miracle book have given me a greater appreciation for it.

    In terms of creativity and ideas, Kirby's Fourth World books are unparalleled in superhero comics. DC has been creating new stories based upon the concepts for decades now with no end in sight.
