To be honest I don't believe theres ever been that much development on Artemis. Its telling when Lobdell showed us more about her life than anything we had seen previously.

My only gripe here? "Bottom?" If anyone in the Wonder Family can be expected to be a regular curser, Artemis would be the one. Seems like an odd choice of words.

I like Artemis as the champion of the Bana-Mighdal, but there’s been fairly little interaction between her and Diana storywise. After Doctor Manhattan gets done doing whatever he’s doing, I’d be intrigued with another tale of the Banas and Themysciran Amazons coming into conflict with the result of the Banas residing on Themyscira again.
Might be too much retread of stories that came before, but also puts Hippolyta’s reign over a peaceful, supportive, and idealistic Paradise Island to the test.
