I know I started it, but do we really want to engage a supporter of baby killing Trump?

That’s pretty rich coming from the left where so many applauded and cheered Cuomo’s bill in NY to allow abortions well into the 3rd trimester.

That isn’t a “blob of cells” or a “fetus”, it’s a fully formed baby human with a fully formed nervous system intact.

Pretty appalling if you ask me and I consider myself pro-choice. But sure as hell not weeks, much less days, before the child is supposed to be delivered.

Conservatives only ever pushed Christian values to begin with as a way to marginalize women and gays, the minute that religious dogma inconvenienced them in any way, it gets dropped immediately. Republicans in the age of Trump rarely reference Christianity as a justification for their policies, and in true Orwellian fashion seems to want the rest of us to think that it was always this way.

Funny how Dems associate gay and woman bashing with conservatives...yet pay the utmost respect to the Islamic culture. Where gays are routinely tossed from rooftops and women are made to wear pitch black outfits from head to toe in the sweltering Middle East and can be stoned to death in the middle of the street for leaving the house without a male guardian.

Its part of your parties group and seeing them drop their values to defend Trump has became a fucking comedy show. Seeing guys like Franklin Graham come up with new ways to defend Trump or seeing Falwell Jr have his own students at Liberty University not happy with his support of Trump have been fun to watch. Because this was a party who's main support from the Religious right was about core bible values. Yet watching them do a clown act ...has exposed them.

And its not Democrats fault or those on the left for this. Its the party you support that had a lot of these folks involved that the party openly courted for years.

Seems like local news mentioned that there were also texts that seemed to point to that one of the brothers might have been a middle man or supplying Smollett with drugs.

Not sure how much there actually is to that, but it might explain dodging turning over his full phone records.

Yes, it's not so much the Religious Right doing a "Lesser of two evils" routine which is questionable but at least honest. But most of them are instead trying to rationalize that Trump is some sort of great guy who really believes in Christianity or anything else except what serves his purposes.

What’s really funny is the liberals standing on their soap boxes and acting as if Hillary was the “moral” choice. Oh the lolz.

The woman who, along with her husband and their extremely shady “Clinton Foundation”, (gee, whatever happened to that I wonder?) have been involved in more shady **** than any politician I can recall in recent memory.

The only Trump supporters who think that he’s some kind of Saint are the extreme zealots who think he can absolutely do no wrong. I didn’t vote for Trump because I think he has some sort of outstanding moral character, I voted for him because goofs on the left have been increasingly trying to establish this ridiculous “victim” culture, seem to take offense to anything and everything these days, and are more and more pushing these socialist policies to the front of their platform.

Talk about a losing strategy. Here’s a newsflash for everyone, the majority of Americans fundamentally reject socialism. Be they on the left, right or center. If Dems want to keep pushing and endorsing ridiculous **** like the Green New Deal, it will only serve to push more moderate democrats across the aisle who will hold their nose and pull the lever for Trump in 2020.

At the risk of raising the ire of this thread ... both sides have gotten a lot wrong about the immigration debate.

Pretending that Obama didn't hold unaccompanied minors doesn't help.

Pretending that Trump didn't forcefully separate children and neglect unaccompanied minors to death while in custody doesn't help either.

Obama and co have since apologized and advocated for better treatment and handling of unaccompanied minors. No child died as a result of the Obama policy.

You can't say the same for Trump.

It's an embarrassment that this should be a debate. CHILDREN DON'T BELONG IN CAGES.

So please bring to us an honest debate.

Still, I’m no expert on religious studies, but I don’t see many modern Christians, Jews, Hindus or Buddhists strapping bombs to their kids chests and sending them off to kill themselves along with other innocent people. That seems to be a very Islam-centric occurrence and it happens numerous times a week in the Middle East.

I don’t think that all western Muslims are terrorists or despise gays to the point of wanting them to die, but this is something that is rampant in their culture.

30% of Muslims worldwide believe in honor killings in some form. That’s not the majority, but that’s still 30% of 1.5 billion people. I don’t see that sort of stuff in any other major organized religion.
